Who we move
Our commercial work covers professional offices, dental and medical practices, retail stores changing locations, small warehouses, and school or church facilities. Each has its own quirks, and we have handled all of them across the metro.
The common thread is that you cannot afford downtime. We build the schedule around that, not around what is convenient for the truck.
Retail moves in particular need inventory kept in order, so shelving and stock are labeled by aisle and go back in the same sequence at the new store.
How the planning works
It starts with a site visit at both addresses. We count workstations, measure large pieces, check the dock and elevator situation, and ask what must be operational first at the new location.
From that we produce a floor plan with numbered zones, so every desk, chair, and box is tagged to a spot in the new space before it leaves the old one.
Your staff receives a simple packing guide and labeled crates. On move day, they go home, and we do the rest.
Off-hours and weekend moves
Most of our office moves run Friday evening through Sunday. Crews arrive after your last employee leaves, work through the night if needed, and have workstations assembled and plugged in before Monday.
For businesses that run seven days a week, we phase the move by department so there is always someone able to answer the phone.
Staff return on Monday to their own desk, their own chair, and their own monitor, connected and ready, which is the whole point of the exercise.
Technology and sensitive equipment
Computers, monitors, and network gear are disconnected, labeled by user, wrapped in anti-static material, and transported in padded crates. Server racks travel in dedicated cases and are never stacked.
Because a closed truck in Texas summer gets very hot, we load electronics last and unload them first, keeping their time in the trailer as short as possible.
Building compliance
We carry the insurance certificates that Dallas and Plano property managers ask for and reserve freight elevators and loading docks in advance. Floor protection, corner guards, and door-frame padding go down before the first cart rolls.
If your lease requires the old space returned in a certain condition, we can remove debris and leftover furniture as part of the job.
