About

About Heaven Moving

Heaven Moving grew out of a simple observation: people in the northern Dallas suburbs were tired of movers who showed up late, rushed the wrap, and blamed the customer when something broke. We built our crews around the opposite habits. Every move begins with a walk-through, either in person or on a video call, so we know how many boxes, how many flights of stairs, and whether the piano is going through the front door or around the back. Our people are trained on the same standards whether they are carrying a dresser out of a Little Elm townhouse or rolling server racks out of a Plano office. We wrap furniture in moving blankets and stretch film, pad the door frames, and lay runners on the floors. When the truck is unloaded, we set beds back up and put boxes in the rooms they belong in, not in a pile by the garage. That is what neighbors would do, and we like to think of ourselves that way.

Questions

What people ask before booking

How far ahead should I book a move in The Colony?

Two to three weeks is comfortable for most local moves. End-of-month weekends and the summer months fill up first, so if your lease ends on the thirty-first, call as early as you can.

Do you move apartments as well as houses?

Yes, and apartments are a large share of what we do. We plan around elevator reservations, loading-zone rules, and stair carries, and we bring floor and door protection for the building.

Can you pack everything, or just the fragile items?

Either. Some families want the whole house boxed the day before; others only want the kitchen and the glassware done professionally. Tell us what you need and we scope it that way.

What happens with a move in the middle of a Texas summer?

We start early, keep the truck doors closed between loads, and never leave candles, electronics, or houseplants sitting in a hot trailer. Heat-sensitive items ride in the cab or go last.

How are long-distance moves within Texas priced?

By the weight of the load and the distance traveled, plus any packing you ask us to do. You get the estimate in writing, and the final weight is taken on a certified scale.
